LaToya Elliott

LaToya Elliott is a woman of faith with witty ideas and BIG dreams. She believes every gift and talent that she possesses was planted to help others, and she’s determined to leave the earth empty. A native of Westland, MI, she is the youngest of 3 daughters. Her parents and sisters set forth clear ideals and instilled in LaToya a mission not only to succeed but to serve.
LaToya is a natural-born teacher and a business woman with an entrepreneurial spirit. She loves books, chocolate, roses and all genres of music. A gifted choir director and a worship leader, LaToya has served in music ministry for over 20 years. She was surrounded by strong influences growing up, which is evidenced in both her professional accomplishments and her enduring spirit.
Success took the once aspiring lawyer to the University of Michigan and Walsh College where she earned a B.A. in English and a Masters in management. Her decision proved to be fortuitous as, years later, LaToya leveraged her business acumen and entrepreneurial expertise to create Events by Elliott, LLC, a full-service event management company. In addition, her love for God, the arts and children led her to answer the call to create the Key of David Worship Arts Camp, which trains young people in music, dance, drama and other artistic expressions.
Most importantly, LaToya is the mother of 3 bright and talented children - DeAndre II, Camryn and Elijah - and shares her life with her husband of almost 19 years, DeAndre. Her mission is to live her life utilizing her God-given gifts and talents to serve, encourage, and show love to others.
