She has most recently joined Assemblymember Sydney Kamlager's "Sister Circle" to support black female entrepreneurs. Additionally, she has partnered with Beach Cities Health District as a "Blue Zones catered and personal chef for seniors, devoted time and resources to the mass vaccination efforts at Dodger Stadium as well as to various charities providing school supplies to inner city youths. She volunteers, walks, and participates in fundraisers for the American Heart Association, Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association and AIDS Project Los Angeles.
Shirrell also doubles as a Certified Travel Agent to fuel her passion to see the world! Jamaica, Seychelles, Ireland, Australia, Fiji, Italy, Greece, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic are just a few of the places she has traveled to with a long bucket list of pending destinations in the works!
Shirrell has a real life testimony of being a Phoenix rising. The road to her current successes was a rough one but the light on her path shines bright in her upcoming autobiography detailing her journey “home”. She hopes to touch and encourage anyone who feels they have lost their way to living up their true potential and the life God intended.
